If a machine is not used and oiled, it grows rusty. The same happens to language. The easiest way to keep language alive, if you cannot attend classes, is to watch films or series (or whatever you like), listen to the radio (there is a local English station in the Murcia area) and read.
When it comes to watching films, subtitles in Spanish are probaby best because it is easy to read in your own language . In fact, you do not need to actually read every word; just a glance at the sentence will be enough. That is how to deal with subtitles. It is a listening exercise and the subtitles are just for checking.
